On a recent caching hike, I noticed that the area around Valley Crow has become very, very dirty. A beautiful area has become soiled and needs our help!
We will meet on
Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 am (1100 hrs) at a market near Byeongmok Citizens' Park.

From there, we will make our way up to the trail head and clean the trail leading up to Valley Crow cz. The hike up should take about 45 minutes, we will clean and then come back down. There are a lot of large pieces of trash that we will not want to carry around for a long time,and I do not want to take too much of your day from you!
The total time should be about 4 hours. The event will run from 11 am - 3 pm.
There is a small excerise area near the cz, where we can gather our collected trash and have snacks before we head back down the hill.
The area arround Valley Crow is pretty steep, so be sure to wear good hiking shoes/boots! Also, since it will be the first weekend in December, the weather will probably be on the chilly side, so be sure to wear warm clothes!
I will provide: garbage bags and gloves.
You will need: tongs and appropriate clothing
*there are bus routes to the meeting site and public parking near the park.
If you plan to attend, please choose the "will attend" option,
so I will know how many bags and gloves to bring.
**Also, as the hill is steep and the trash is on the side of a steep hill, use caution when thinking about bringing children. There are plenty of safe areas near the cz, but the cleaning event will need extra care and caution.
if you wish to continue searching for caches AFTER the event, feel free to do so. BUT, I ask that you help carry the trash back down the hill before you do. There are a few large pieces that will need to come down and we will need help in doing so!
