St. Marys, Drimpton
St. Marys church is a simple small chapel with a modern porch.
Rev. Soloman Cesar Malan & volunteers started to build this church in 1863
on local charity land with donated stone from a local resident Captian Spurway.
It finally opened in 1867. The John Gould Charity land which the church stands on also
has the village school & the local pub buildings on it.
The only other info i have is that i got married in the church!
