St. Leonards Church
The church was built in 1840 by Sampson Kempthorne after the original one burnt down.
The current church is built of hamstone cut & squared ashlar dressings, welsh slate roof with a western bell turret.
It is a two cell plan of a single bay chancel and 5 bay nave with a south porch that has an iron gate.
The rear gallery has an organ, one plaque on the north wall dates 1767 and on the rear wall
a hatchment dates 1660 (charles II) but overpainted in 1695 for william.
The church its self has very limited open's but every other sundays.
