Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT ON THE INTERSTATE.  It is located in a public plaza below.  Bring a pen.  If driving here, you must approach from the Flats or the eastbound lanes off the Hope Memorial bridge.  Nearest parking is a pay lot.

This plaza is on the original east side of the Central Viaduct.  This was the first high level bridge to cross the Cuyahoga River.  There are still street car tracks on the plaza.  Nearby is the Cleveland Fire Museum.  After finding the cache, walk to your right and read the other informational signs.  There is some interesting things about the Hope Memorial Bridge, (Lorain - Carnegie).  Look at this link for more info:  http://ech.cwru.edu/ech-cgi/article.pl?id=CV

The plaza is kind of hard to get to.  Walking or biking would be best.  I have included coords to a pay lot that is very close. So close you really don't need coords, you will see it.

FTF honors to go CarpenterLuvaKatCrew.
