With its 2 lakes, 8 beaches, hills and trails, Penticton has great recreation/geocaching opportunities. Caches are located at the nearby ski hill, along the Kettle Valley TransCanada hike/bike trail, and at the world class Skaha Bluffs rock climbing provincial park. They can be found near some of the 120 area wineries where you can stop and enjoy a tasting. Don’t miss going to Munson Mountain with the giant PENTICTON sign for an Earth cache and a couple traditionals.
This Welcome to Penticton cache is a camoed bison tube. Log book only so bring your own pen. Enjoy the park and beach while you are here.
