Geocache Description:

BunsenH is the CO of "Another Lonely Park," (GC3AH3D) a popular hide here from January 2011 - December 2016. When I asked him if he minded me placing a new cache here, his only request was that I name it after a song title. The first song that came to mind was one of my all-time favorites, Garth Brooks' "The River."

Too many times we stand aside
And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
Has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline
And say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids
And dare to dance the tide...

The launch, which is the city’s only access to the river, may be accessed from the north side of the Pride gasoline station property on Riverdale Street across from Elm Street.


I believe a geocache should either provide a unique experience or bring visitors to a cool location, or a combination of both. So I've provided a rating to share where and why I placed this cache. Enjoy!
