Amadores beach is situated between Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan on the southwest of Gran Canaria .
You can walk from Puerto Rico to Amadores on the promenade that runs along the road. The bus stops right by and there is also parking if you have a rental car.
All along the beach there is a promenade with restaurants and shops. The beach itself is an artificially curved beach with large breakwater that stops the big waves so that it is safer for small children. All in all, this is a great beach, perhaps especially for families.
Be careful if you look for the cache in the middle of the day: There are mugglers all around you!
