You do not have to hike to attend this event, simply come out and enjoy some geo talk with everyone.
After our Breakfast those who wish to hike will gather in the parking lot around 9:30am for the drive over to the hiking area.
The hiking plan is to hike out to the new hides on the ridges beyond the pinnacles at Berea Forest. This is a tough area to hike so be prepared with good hiking boots and any other gear you think you might need. This is a rain or shine or snow event so let’s get out there and get down and dirty. For those not wanting such a tough winter hike we will post many pictures of our adventures on social media.
This could be between 6 and 9 miles of hiking depending on how far we feel we can go.
