just as we were walking out the door to go check out the new board walk at Pickeral lake, my son decided he wanted to place a cache. so we grabbed a few materials and he put one together as i was driving!
when we were walking i said, " now you have to pick a spot" and he did.. and as we were placing it , my foot kicked something in the leaves. it turned out to be a plastic box...with a description on the inside of the lid . looks like we found an old letterbox ..found a pen and what used to be a log book . its in pretty bad shape.. he decided right then and there on the name for the cache..
it was a very quiet walk out here today.. the new boardwalk is awesome..there is a lot of new beaver activity going on and we even got to hear an owl..it was a great adventure!
