From colliery to community woodland Viridor Wood is on the site of the former Mains Colliery which closed in 1960. The woods are set over three areas with large open spaces, great views and sculptures.
For those of you that are not familiar with the area, if you continue along the path past the large gate there is a lovely 1.7 mile (approx) circular walk which is most enjoyable with several other caches located along the route not far from the main path.
*Important* NO TOOLS are required to remove the cache from it's current position as the container will get damaged by the use of tools (see hint).
