My 125th cache continues my tribute to Gen. George Washington, the undisputed father of our country. My other caches in this series include Faith, Perseverence and Courage, attributes that most would accord Washington. Park in the lot at the top of the hill and make the easy walk over. There are three other caches quite nearby. The view is, of course, spectacular, and hasn't changed much topographically since Washington surveyed from here British troop movements in the valley below in 1777.
I've included a picture of a sign detailing how popular a destination this was years ago, so much that people would take the train to Plainfield and then make the trek up to see with their eyes what Washington and his men saw. Have we gotten too sophisticated for that?
Anyway, enjoy the cache and God bless!
