Primavera Traditional Cache

It's time to experience some Cuban art in the Malecón, known as Havana's sofa where people spend time sitting by the sea.

After Megs and I cached our way across Havana we wanted to contribute something and provide some insight into the wonderful world of Cuban art. The sculpture you're looking for is titles "Primavera" and was donated to the city in May of 2015 by the artist Rafael Miranda San Juan. 

In his words, "Los rostros pueden mostrar las almas de las personas, la diversidad de géneros. No me resulta posible obviar la belleza, la confrontación y la transculturación entre nosotros. Hoy nuestro mundo globalizado es esto. Es presencia aquí y allá. ¿Por qué mujeres? Pues, porque son la máxima expresión de vida. Mi interés como artista es donar este pieza al corazón da la ciudad. Que palpite entre todos nosotros, para que todos los transeúntes convivan con ella y permanezca en su recuerdo."
