Windsor already has a number of fountains but this was opened in 2016 in the middle of a busy roundabout. There has been much controversy about the inaccessibility of the fountain and the possible danger of distracting motorists navigating a busy junction. The design has been described as resembling a toilet brush. Despite the opprobrium, I like it and the world always needs more fountains. So enjoy!
The cache does not require you to make the dangerous journey to the centre of the roundabout. There is some pay and display parking nearby in Clarence Road. The container is a 35mm camera pot. Given the high visibility position please try and avoid being spotted by muggles.
