Wisconsin's State Parks are beautiful places to visit for a great variety of outdoors experiences. I decided to hide this cache in the state park that is the closest to my home: Lake Kegonsa State Park. Experiences and facilities available at Lake Kegonsa State Park include trails, picnic areas, boat launch, playgrounds, pet areas, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, cross county skiing, ice fishing, sledding, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, archery hunting, and trapping. I've probably missed some things on that list . . . such as geocaching! It's time to get outside and find this one! A short trek to the cache and you can add your signature to the log...if you've brought your own writing stick! I found this container while searching for another geocache and spruced it up a bit. A current state park sticker is required for admission. Park hours are from 6am - 11pm.
