We looked up what holidays would be celebrated on this day, December 15, 2016. We found out this is National Wear Your Pearls Day and we know you all have some of those. This date also celebrates The Bill of Rights Day by Presidential Proclamation from Franklin Roosevelt. The funniest was National Cat Herders Day for those whose life and job is like herding cats.
The reason we will gather this evening is to celebrate the approach of the Christmas Season. We ask everyone to wear some sort of Christmas attire. Your Christmas Hat, Christmas Shirt, Christmas Dress, Christmas Sweater(yes even a ugly one) or all of them together! No we won't have any prizes because that would be a frill. No we won't do a gift exchange because just being with all of you geocachers is gift enough.
After all we are coming together to celebrate the reason for the Season!! CHRISTMAS!! Maybe we will talk about geocaching too!!
