Every time I pass this road I read the sign as Lemons Rd.
It wasn't until I was watching a quiz show with the family that I learnt that Lemnos is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It has a very interesting history. Well worth learning more about, but I'm not going to copy and paste from Wikipedia, you can do your own research. :-)
