You will find two monuments standing by the Ukiima bridge after short walk from the Kita-Akabane Station (Waypoint)
Bigger monument commemorates a build of the first bridge between Ukima and Kita-Akabane in 1928 (surprisingly recent). Before that, the means of transportation from Ukima was small river ferry only.
Smaller one commemorates the transfer of the bigger monument from the original position to the present place in 1985.
After walking down the street and going up the stairs on the right, you will see a small pier. This is an emergency pier which will be used when ground tranportations are not sufficiently functional in case of disaster.
The cache container is hidden on the riverbank in front of the pier.

JR埼京線北赤羽駅からキャッシュに向かって歩くと、橋のたもとに大小二つの碑があります (Waypoint）。
大きいほうの碑は、荒川と新河岸川に挟まれ交通手段が渡し船しかなかった浮間に、初めての橋となる浮間橋が1928年（割と最近でびっくり）に架けられたことを記念するものです。
小さいほうの碑は、1985年に大きいほうの碑が現在の浮間橋の脇に移設されたことを記念して建てられたものです。
さて、碑を通り過ぎ、道を下って右手の階段を上がると、目の前に北赤羽船着場があります。この船着場は、災害時に寸断された陸上の交通網を補完して緊急輸送網とするための防災船着場なので、普段は使用されていません。
