Geocache Description:

別府・一の宮線、通称"やまなみハイウェイ"に通じる県道11号線を北上していく途中に位置しているのが、ここ「城山展望所」です。

海抜748ｍの高さにあり、阿蘇五岳を望む展望所としては最も近い位置にあります。足下には阿蘇谷の田畑が広がり、秋の早朝には雲海と阿蘇五岳の雄大な景色が楽しめます。
