Geocache Description:

In the summer of 2016, two long-standing Scout groups in Moncton decided to merge together: Steeves Memorial Scout Group and Mount Royal Scout Group combined forces and renamed themselves 1st Jones Lake Scout Group. This is the second cache in a series of hides by the youth of 1st Jones Lake Scouting.

On a great December hike, the Scouts from 1st Jones Lake made their way to the dam in the centre of Mill Creek Park. After climbing on the rocks, poking at the ice with thin sticks and eating their lunch, the Scouts hid a cache up the hill from the dam. From the cache's hiding spot, you have a nice view of the dam and the reservoir behind it. Watch your footing if approaching from the bottom of the spillway, as the path up the hill can be quite slippery.

The cache is a 500 mL mayonnaise jar with a logbook, pencil and traders.
