Geocache Description:

竹の園生 Bamboo Garden

The winds may fell the massive oak, but bamboo, bent even to the ground, will spring upright after the passage of the storm. -- Japanese Proverb

The Japanese Gardens consists of a children’s playground, a grass lawn where you can play with a ball, walkways, a small stream, a tea-garden and a variety of different plants. These gardens are visited by local families wanting to enjoy a picnic and a Sunday afternoon of rest & relaxation. It is not a very big park, so no need to put on your hiking shoes for this stroll.

There are two entrances to the park; the main entrance is just off Underwood Road, in Bartlett Road. The second entrance is off Highlands Road – Highlands Hills / Pinetown. The cache can be accessed from both.
