A short walk from the road, this cache will show you an often ignored beach, which is frankly lovely! Dogs MUST be on a lead. This is croft land.
I placed this cache on my own land to celebrate my 50th cache. The beach you see from the cache is called Ceann Traigh Thoisinis and it is my favourite place in the world. Please don't drive over the machair to reach the cache, rather, park just off the road and walk. This protects the unique ecosystem of the Scottish machair. From the cache you will see a stile which you are welcome to use to access the beach. On your way home from the cache, try to spot the original Coll View, a house built in 1891 by my great great grandfather. If you see me, give me a wave! Good luck! Congratulations to nivenjulie for FTF!
