Geocache Description:

A simple Wherigo which requires a few short questions, a 4 mile drive, and a short but very steep climb.

This Wherigo is dedicated to geocaching friends, and is placed as a prominent Payson geocacher prepares for an adventure in another location. From the starting coordinates, there will be a few easy questions to answer based on the surroundings. Then, after a 4 mile ride on paved and direct roads (passable for any car, ATV, or mountain bike in dry conditions), you will park and make a short but very steep climb up a hill (just under 300 feet) with bushwacking to the final location.

Wherigo is like a multicache only it involves answering questions directly into the GPS device. It requires either a GPS capable of doing Wherigo, or an iphone or droid smart phone with the Wherigo app installed. You will need to upload the following cartridge. This is not a reverse wherigo, but is simple for the inexperienced. The terrain rating is for the hike only.

When you get the final coordinates, you will need to climb the hill to the south. You can go any way you like. Certainly the ATV paths on the north slope are the most direct route. However, the northeast is more gradual and the ground is better for keeping your footing. When you get to the top, look for the pile of rocks.
