The cache is placed just outside the community showground fence, at ground level. Taralga, and this road, are usually quiet, but will come alive during the annual rodeo during the January long weekend. Stealth will be required then
This cache will place you on Bannaby Rd. If followed, it will become a country dirt road. Once at Bannaby, it divides into Hanworth Rd, which eventually peters out into a fire trail, or you can try taking the Brayton Rd. This is a very nice scenic drive that will eventually come out at Marulan. But you will need to traverse the Swallowtail Pass first. This can be rough & after heavy rain impassable at the Tarlo River causeway. 4WD is recommended for this road.
