The cache is very close to the road so there is no need to go further onto the farm. This cache is placed on private property and the landowners have very kindly given us permission to place it on their land. We ask that you please be respectful of their property and their privacy. If you see the landowner, please take a second to say hello and thank them for allowing us to share their projects with geocachers like you.
You may also receive a coin by finding all 24 caches on the ACD WA.T.E.R. GeoTrail. Start by printing your official map at armstrongcd.org/geotrail. There is a codeword on the information cards inside each cache. Fill in the spaces on the map with the codewords for each one. Once you have completed your map, bring to the Armstrong Conservation District office to receive your coin. You’ll want to be quick as we have a very limited number of coins available.
For more information, please visit armstrongcd.org/geotrail
We also have a handful of travel bugs inspired by our “mascot,” Harry the Sloth. Each one has a special goal with a conservation theme.
While the cache is pretty small, there is a bit of room for a few trade items.
