The nearby country park is pretty well served for caches but I spotted this obvious gap on the approach to the business park that borders Ruddington Fields. This could be a park and grab but maybe not....The cache itself is barred to nosy folk but you're allowed to peek!
Ruddington Country park is a great place to visit, especially with its heritage transport links -the transport museum, a minature railway and the northern end of the Great Central Railway. Mere Way is the official approach to it, through the various sheds and offices that form the buusiness park, apparently the working place for around two thousand people these days (including my son!). I've walked back along Loughborough Road from there a couple of times recently as I have another cache just a bit further into Ruddington village and have thought several times this would be an obvious place to hide another. The local workers are a messy lot though and there's always plenty of litter to pick up. Bring a black bag with you and you can help me tidy it up while we all have fun together! Keep an eye open for the occasional doggle or staff from the business park heading for the nearest bus stop. Oh, and there's lots of passing traffic too, especially at rush hour.....otherwise it's easy! Bring a pen and perhaps a bit of muscle. There's room for the odd swap or a TB if you feel inclined. I've left a few bits and bobs and a TB to get you started.....
