This event is open to newbies, experienced cachers, and extremely experienced cachers. Come, share your stories of caching adventures and mishaps; joys and jubilations, trials and triumphs, ammo cans and tin cans, your most favorite find - and your most frustrating DNF!
Last year, I attended "Goodbye 2015" and "Hello 2016" events in Atlanta to celebrate the transition to a new year and had a great time at both events -- and earned two special virtual souvenirs in the process. I am returning this year to keep the new tradition going. No special souvenirs this year (as far as I know), but rest assured there will be some fabulous door prizes.
We'll start gathering around noon, chat, eat, laugh, greet latecomers, and repeat until 1:30 or so. (NOTE: The host will be coming from one of two church services, with different ending time, so might not be arriving until closer to 12:30 - but other cachers have asked for an earlier starting time due to a football game of some sort. I'm happy to oblige! If you don't see a crowd when you arrive, hold up your GPSr, wave "Hello 2017", and get the party started!).
