mamiat has used Project-GC Challenge Checker to see if he/she qualified for this challenge and he/she did. I made it with 1002 finds and needed only 1000 of the type Unknown Cache
No evidence is needed in the log, it is really easy to check whether you are qualified or not. If the "found it" log is done without meeting the criteria, we will delete the log.
When we started to hunt geocaches, it became very soon obvious that unknown caches are THE cache type that guides our trips. Mysteries, wherigos, challenges, "bonus caches", you name it. We do not like "guess what I think of" -type of riddles but we love those where description contains enough clues to start the investigations. And during the years, we have learned a lot!
This cache is located at the given coordinates but in order to sign the log book, something must be solved first. So be prepared: take your UV-flashlight with you (no other tools are needed - well, calculator may be useful but you'll be just fine with pen and paper). And look around you at the parking location - the id of the small electric box is something you need at the cache. If you don't do your pre-work, things may became complicated! Winter may cause some extra difficulty but nothing to a cacher who has found 1000 mysteries... D-value corresponds to the challenge, the cache itself is half of it.

Mitään todistusaineistoa logiin ei tarvita, on hyvin helppo tarkistaa onko haaste suoritettu vaiko eikö. Poistamme kyselemättä löytöloggaukset, missä kriteerit eivät täyty.
Kun aloimme kiertää geokätköillä, varsin nopeasti tuli ilmi, että "unknown" kätkötyyppi on se meidän juttu. Mysteerit, wherigot, "bonuskätköt", haasteet jne. Emme ole vielä oppineet pitämään "arvaa mitä ajattelen" -tyyppisistä mysteereistä mutta rakastamme niitä, missä kätkökuvaus sisältää riittävästi vihjeitä tutkimustyön aloittamiseksi. Ja vuosien kuluessa olemme oppineet paljon!
Tämä kätkö on ilmoitetuissa koordinaateissa mutta päästäksesi loggaamaan jotain pitää ratkaista. Ole siis valmiina: ota UV-taskulamppu mukaasi (mitään muuta työkalua ei täällä tarvita - tai no, taskulaskimesta voi olla hyötyä vaikka kynällä ja paperillakin pärjää mainiosti). Ja katsele ympärillesi pysäköintipaikalla - polun alun lähellä olevan pikkuisen sähkökeskuksen tunnusta tarvitset kätköllä. Jos et tee ennakkotehtäviä, tilanne voi muuttua monimutkaiseksi! Talvikin saattaa antaa oman mausteensa tälle mutta tuskin aiheuttaa isoja ongelmia tuhat mysteeriä käyneelle kätköilijälle... Vaikeus kuvaa haasteen vaikeutta, itse kätkö on puolet siitä.
