New Roads #2 Traditional Cache

mudlvr: I had forgotten I disabled this cache during the winter and am glad the reviewer gave me a reminder. On visiting, I discovered the strong wire cable that secured the cache had been broken. Replacing it would be for the third time. I am archiving it because the location seems doomed to damage from snow, ice and snow removal equipment.

Geocache Description:


Another simple p&g. Its purpose is to introduce you to the new bridge and roadwork recently completed to open up Bathurst St  north on to hwy. 11 outside of Bradford. This has been closed and impassable for many years. The closure forced northbound Bathurst traffic to pass through Newmarket via Green Lane (or Morning Sideroad) in order to get up to Bradford. It is now a superb road and should relieve a good amount of traffic congestion. Another impressive project. Cache is small containing only a log. Please bring own writing utensil.
