There's no need to venture into the dense part of the bamboo forest. It's not the old container from the previous cache here. Coords can be tricky here. Try stepping outside the area and back in.
I like to park in parking spaces rather than on the grass along the road. The park is open sunrise to sunset. Walking toward and past the restrooms provides a mowed approach; they've let the grass grow high here. And then there's the bamboo. Are you bamboozled?
