Or, you may be in front of the TAB and around the corner is a restaurant that I worked at for over a decade that holds a lot of meaning to myself and many others. I spent many a Saturday night there and New Year’s Eve’s. I grew up in the Frankston area and enjoyed clubbing and a game of poker at the nearby nightspots. This intersection was known as the 4 pub corner and is usually alive with activity.
The restaurant around the corner has been in operation for over 31 years and was made famous by the (infamous) Nicko and became well known and provided employment to many young people and students. His authentic Greek food and generous servings, you could not fault. Nick was known for his great love of Whiskey and occupying the TAB. Nick is no longer working the grill as he retired and sadly passed away in 2017. The name and business was handed on to new owners so that his dream could live on.
