Geocache Description:

Pleasant walking near The River Trent with more caches in the area

This cache is to be published the day Jim would have been 65. Sadly, Jim died last October. Jim loved boats and sailing, he was an active member of the nearby sailing club. Jim had a wicked sense of humour and warming smile. We have happy memories of Jim dressed as a pirate at Steve's  60th pirate- themed birthday party. Jim came Along with us on a family boating holiday a few years ago and we had a piratical Rumbustification day where Jim was Called 'Jim lad'  he walked the plank and fell in the water but the smiles never stopped.  Jim was Steve's big brother and will be missed. Jim and his wife cached as Pennilane and we sometimes cached together.

The cache is placed about half way between our two homes and overlooking a spot regularly sailed on by members of the club including Jim.
