This cache has been changed to a micro hidden in the tower wall. PLEASE NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE ANY STONES FROM THE WALL TO OBTAIN THE CACHE! PLEASE RESPECT THE TOWER AND TRY NOT TO DISTURB IT. PLEASE REPLACE ANY ROCKS MOVED. CACHE accessible from the ground :)
Team piggyspig would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to a geocacher named dynamicarc who kindly replaced the muggled cache. Coordinates are slightly off due to old cache being muggled :( But follow the hint. you'll be sure to find it. Its a hard to find. The hint will give you a general area of where to look but if unsuccessful, i have supplied a photo hint which is a SPOILER! Don't look if you want to find it yourself! The co-ordinates will bring you to a tower made of volcanic rock. Although the cache is accessible from the bottom, feel free to climb the tower. It will allow you to see for miles. Behold beautiful views over this lovely area of lanzarote. You're surrounded by miles of serene coastline, volcanic rock formations and volcanos. Notice the railings atop the tower are adorned with padlocks (as are most railings you will notice around pueto del carmen). A cultural symbol of love, why not add your own! You can buy them very cheaply (a couple of euros or so) in the dozens of gift shops surrounding the area. You a looking for a microcache. Please keep well hidden! ENJOY! I shall be maintaining the cache myself on frequent visits to the island. A friend who lives on the island will also be maintaining also. I have left a fairly large log book in the cache but feel free to replace if needed :) A very big congratulations to Sweetwoodraspler who was first to find. Well done! :) :) :)
