Geocache Description:

A letterbox tribute to Keith Partridge.

One of my favourite "after school" viewing pleasures when I was a kid was The Partridge Family, a half-hour musical sitcom detailing the humorous adventures of a family trying to make it as a rock group. This cache was placed in honour of Keth Partridge, the oldest of the kids, and played by David Cassidy.

One of my favorite episodes: Keith keeps talking to a girl at school with no reaction, only to find out by the end of the episode that she was a transfer student who only spoke Spanish, and he would have been able to speak to her in that language if he had only paid closer attention at first.

In order to find this cache, go to the posted coordinates, and project a waypoint as follows: take the numeric value of the letters in DAVID to get the distance in meters, and take the numeric value of the letters in DCASSIDY and multiply by 4 to get the bearing (true north).

If you would prefer to take a more traditional letterbox approach, go to the posted coordinates, look for the nearby diagonal checkerboard; one meter lower than the bottom corner you will find the cache.

Since this is a letterbox, please leave the stamp behind, and be careful when peeling back the flap where the log sheet is stored..
