We'd had our eyes on this spot for a while, as geo-kid 7 had wanted to place one here, and had the materials already at hand. When Boombear expressed his concern at the dwindling number of winter-friendly local caches that were suitable for chasing with the family at 20 below zero, it seemed like a good time to complete the hide. Lord knows he's placed his share of winter-friendlies - keep that streak alive!
This should be an easy find, located on a popular dog-walking path where the snow is cleared all winter. When the trees leaf out, you'll be reasonably sheltered from the yards on either side of the path. In the winter, not so much, so be discreet.
