Geocache Description:


Herons Creek was one of the original timber districts of the Mid North Coast. Significant landmarks, each with a facinating story have been identified that help build a picture of the flourishing early days.These stories are are told on interpretive panels located around the district.
Some of the roads are sealed & others are good gravel roads.
The panel here is the beginning of The Pioneer Way section.
