Дерев'яна церква Богоявлення Господнього в Кугаєві / Wooden Church of Epiphany in Kuhaiv
[UA] Церква в Кугаєві, яка стоїть при в'їзді у село і є пам'яткою архітектури національного значення, збереглася в оригінальному вигляді до наших днів. В інтер'єрі є написи, які свідчать, що церкву ремонтувала своїм коштом громада Кугаєва при священнику Горіновичу та провізорах Михайла і Василя Батогів у 1874 році. Знову ж таки коштом сільської громади святиня відреставрована у 1985 р., помальована у 1989 р.
Просто дитячих розмірів та висоти (10 х 7,5 м) дерев`яна тризрубна церква має тільки прибудовану ризницю до північної стіни вівтаря. Причому її розмір навіть трохи більший за вівтар, що рідко буває. Церква накрита пірамідальними верхами, завершеними вузькими маківками. Стіни надопасання пофарбовані цегляним кольором, підопасання - чистий зруб, який частково поточений короїдом. Навпроти головного входу стоїть висока триярусна дзвінниця, розміром 3,3 х 3,3 м, нижній ярус якої зі сторони церкви відкритий. Церква і дзвінниця справжня класика бойківської народної архітектури.
Wooden Church of Epiphany in Kuhaiv preserved in its original form since 1693 to the present. Inside there is an inscription showing that the church was repaired at the expense of community of Kuhaiv in time of pastor Horinovych and pastors Michael and Basil Batog in 1874. Again at the expense of rural communities restored in 1985, painted in 1989.
Wooden Church of Epiphany is one of the smallest in the region - 10 meters long, 7,5 meters width and 7,5 meters high. To the north wall of the altar attached sacristy. The size of sacristy is larger than the altar that rarely happens. Church covered by pyramidal tops completed by narrow heads.
Opposite the main entrance of the church there is a three-storey high bell tower measuring 3,3 meters x 3,3 meters. The foundation of the bell tower sank so that it is tilted as Pisa tower in Italy.
Wooden Church of Epiphany and bell tower are Boiko true classic folk wooden architecture.
One of the most beautiful original wooden churches of Lviv region.
Unfortunately the state of the church is very deplorable - the roof leaks so it is covered with plastic wrap.
