We live in an old house, which is at least 120 years old. As an old house, it has lots of little holes and spaces through which we often have little four footed visitors. When we hear them chewing in the walls or find their footprints in the butter, we know it’s time to get out the trap.
But we’ve never liked the idea of a traditional trap that winds up crushing its customers and rely, instead, on a live capture trap which works very well once you put the right bait in it. Our little unwanted guests are often waiting for us in the morning, and then it’s up to us to gently evict them.
It makes no sense to let them out near our house, because they’ll just come right back in. So, we take them to a small section of woods on the edge of town and release them there.
This cache is located near the place where we’ve relocated all of our mousy visitors. All you need to do to find the cache is decode the following puzzle. And, when you do find the cache, you may want to leave a little treat (but, please, not in the cache container!) for one brown mouse.
