Another cache in the Historic District series of caches in Mesa.
Joe Davis is believed to be the oldest working barber in the state of Arizona. He is a man full of stories and humor.
Joe graduated from Mesa High School in 1940 and then attended American Barber College in Los Angeles - there was no baber school in Arizona at the time. He has been cutting hair ever since. His sons had no interest in the business but he has granddaughters who work with him in his shop.
Joe goes to the shop every day before it opens to make sure everything is ready. He enjoys visiting with the customers and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.
Joe has no plans to retire.
