This location marks the top of Tarlo Gap, on the Taralga Rd. Although this location overlooks farmland, its not too far from here to the Tarlo River National Park, to the east. Although its not a large area as far as national parks go, it contains a rugged, unusual landscape not found elsewhere in the region. The Park was created in 1982.
