What can I say other than this is the heartland of America - or perhaps I should call it the bread basket of America.
Notice along the fence lines how the sand is built up like snow drifts. this happened in the 1930s during dust storms. The sand drifted like snow. If you were to dig down, you would find old fence lines buried in the drifted sand.
