Geocache Description:

The reason for this cache is simple - it's just a great view looking south east down the Nant Llanelen/Ochram Brook valley. It is on a little-used lane, and if you come from the bottom (Llanfoist) direction you can continue up the lane to the Foxhunter car park (underneath the masts) where you can walk to the trig point on the top of Blorenge on a well-established footpath. This is the sister cache to my '340 Metres Above Sea Level' cache further down the same lane.

Blorenge is a good-looking mountain seen from almost anywhere in Abergavenny, where it dominates views south-west from the town, and you can easily start a walk from this point onto the lesser used or known side of this mountain.

Placed for an easy find, the cache is a small specimen tube. Please attach securely when you replace it.

This cache can be found as a cache-and-dash but it would be nice to stop a while to admire the view.

Thanks to the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority for giving permission for this cache.
