Cache is placed high above the forks of the Speed and Grand rivers.
This place is a wonderful area to observe birds in the cold winter months. This morning we discovered geese, swans and seagulls down by the water and chickadees and cardinals high atop the ridge. The area is also well known as a wintering location for bald eagles, however, we did not see any this morning.
Might want to bring some field glasses to observe these amazing creatures more closely.
Enjoy the stroll!
