BRANDY WITH MOORE

At the GZ you will find yourself near Moores Dam. I wasnt able to find out much information on this dam except its name, but given its location it may have serviced mining operations in years long gone. In more recent times it appears to be used as an water point for fire control as the dam wall has been enlarged to increase capacity. There is evidence of some smaller sluces in the area which may indicate earlier use.

As with several other roads in the general area this dam is located on an track named after some favourite drinks of old miners such as Brandy and Whiskey. Maybe even some geocachers like these too!

Access to GZ is easily done via Old Brandy Road which is 2WD safe.
