The final geocaching event of 2016! We will be meeting at Veterans Memorial Park in Barrington from 12-2 pm. It's a great place that I never would have known about if not for geocaching that has interesting history, great trails, and quite a few caches. The gate to this area of the park is closed in the winter, so parking is available at the YMCA (coordinates provided) and from there it's only a short walk in. The weather for last year's Noon Year's Eve was beautiful so I'm hoping that will happen once again this year, but if we do end up having inclement weather I will move the event elsewhere.
I look forward to reminiscing over 2016 with everyone and looking forward to what 2017 has to bring!
