Westward Ho! is a great little village with a lot to offer. If you find yourself here in colder weather, and in need of some gloves, why not try Harrods of Westward Ho! There used to be an area that would have been perfect for a souk, it is now where a new hotel is being built. However, there is an area not too far away from the new hotel that could also be used for the same purpose, and where the famous Hocking's ice cream can be bought (and it is well worth sampling this local delicacy!). There are really just two shopping streets in the village, one containing cafes and restaurants, and a supermarket, the other road has two bakeries, a corner shop, a Chinese takeaway, a butcher's shop and a salon or two.
Of course - Westward Ho! is famous for the golf course, the exclamation mark after its name, and the sandy beach.
