Welcome to the Practical Math Geocache
All of the practical math questions below are actual encounters that I have had.

The Cache is NOT at the given coordinates,
The high difficulty of this Cache is based on the puzzle, not the level of difficulty to actually find the Cache.
You will need to solve the puzzle below in order to know that actual Cache location.
The Cache is located at:

A: Diagonal Bracket Length
You are building a small shelf in your garage.
You mount the bracket and place a piece of wood on top of it and then start placing items on your newly built shelf.
You notice that the shelf starts to sag after you place a couple items on it.
You figure that you need to strengthen the brackets by adding a diagonal support to each of them.
The bracket dimensions are as follows:
Length: 11 inches
Width: 9 inches
How long does the diagonal support need to be?

11.7 Inches - A = 1

B: On the road again
You move into your new house.
You get a call from someone that you knew years ago that lives 30+ miles away.
He asks you how long it would take for you to get to his house.
Once you leave your home you will need to travel four miles at a speed of 30 MPH.
Then you will take the on-ramp to the highway and travel 24 miles at a speed of 60 MPH.
Once you exit the highway you will travel two miles at 45 MPH and then you will arrive at your friends house.
Approximately, how long is it going to take to get to your friends house?
