10 years ago I placed my first Xmas Ornament geocache and have done many since. After a few years hiatus I just had to mark the anniversary with another one. The original cache was a unique experience that I'd always wanted to replicate to give others the chance to experience how it was back in 2006. You'll find it in a park that has lots of sports going on in the summer (and no hounds barking at you this time! :)

If you find a brightly coloured ornament it's yours to keep. The only things I ask is that you only take one item per family or user-name. If you like, you could bring an ornament to exchange but keep in mind it needs to be weather friendly. Bring your own pen!

1st, 2nd and 3rd to find get a special ornament! After signing your the log, go collect your prize from the pine tree to the south that has an orange top. In that tree you'll find a basketball with a ziplock inside containing the Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes.


Update September 2017: replaced the cache with a small container and the hint changed to match. The original container has been glued to the bottom so you can see what you would have found originally. Please leave it in the cache. On a positive note, there is room for trackables now. There are 5 ornament available to be taken.
