Now anyone who has walked, cycled or driven down (or up for that matter) this track will know that it is unsuitable for vehicles, unless it's a tractor, quad bike or 4x4. Lauren decided to try & drive down it, in the dark, in her little red ....MINI! She managed to get about 600m from the end of the track, panicked & rang her dad to rescue her.
Walking up the track in daylight, I'm amazed the mini even made it to the bottom, but it did. So please don't try & find these caches in anything less than the above named modes of transport, especially at night!
The caches are placed along a green lane which is a continuation of Barnell Lane, joining Patrick Rd to Arrasey Rd. Although Laurens journey started at the top of the track, I have hidden them starting from the bottom as I wanted the main cache to be placed here. You can find the caches in reverse order if you wish, but it would be preferable to start at #1.There is room for one or two cars at the end of Barnell Lane & start of the track, but please don't park in front of the gates
I like hiding series of caches because I like FINDING series of caches. I hope you enjoy the walk, the view & finding the caches. Good luck!
