In 1907 St. Rose of Lima opened in Crofton and in 1911 they established a school.
I find it interesting that the public school in Crofton only opened in 1906 so St. Rose was soon to follow with its own school in 1911.
1906 was also the year that Crofton was incorporated, so you can tell that education was a priority.
