Hi I've met some of the PE cachers at the CT Mega and had wanted to meet up at PE earlier but alas it didn't happen - I don't always know well in advance when I can get access to that state-of-the-art transmission electron microscope at NMMU.
But this time I do and I even have time to organise a small event!
Oh well this is the microscope I have used at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, USA, but I don't have a picture of me at the NMMU machine yet.
And this is a gold nanoparticle imaged at atomic resolution.
My plane is set to arrive at 17:55 so calculating a short delay and the retrieval of my suitcase I should be out by 18:30. I will probably grab a bite at one of the places available here but many of them are take-out as well so you won't be forced to buy anything if you don't want to.
I would like to meet especially those who would like to team up sometime in the not too distant future to tackle for example the Wherigo trail, but I am always glad to exchange any caching stories.
Also if you you are just passing through like I am, please DO come and join us for some friendly banter!
There is a small parking fee but plenty of parking space available.
